Connect the account

If you are new here, start from the Cinema HQ for Android homepage, then follow this guide. Open Cinema HQ settings, find the debrid or accounts section, and choose Real-Debrid. The app shows an authorization screen; complete it with your Real-Debrid account on another device, then return to the app and refresh the sources. The exact authorization screen varies by build, so follow the screen in front of you rather than an older screenshot.

What changes in the source list

With Real-Debrid connected, cached high quality sources appear alongside the free ones, usually at the top of the list and with steadier playback. Free sources keep working as before. If a cached source still buffers, the problem is the connection or the title, not the account, so try a lower quality cached source before changing settings. The Trakt sync guide guide covers the next step in detail.

When to skip debrid

Debrid is optional. If you watch occasionally, or mostly on a phone, the free sources may be enough, and paying for a service you barely use is poor value. Connect it when buffering or thin source lists start costing you evenings, not before. For a related setup, see subtitle settings. The file itself is on the download page.

Quick Answers

Is Real-Debrid required for Cinema HQ?

No. It is optional. The app works from free sources without any debrid account.

Why is my Real-Debrid source buffering?

Try a lower quality cached source first, then test the connection. A single bad source does not mean the account failed.

Do other debrid services work too?

Cinema HQ also supports Premiumize, TorBox and AllDebrid, connected the same way in settings.
